People’s Exchange Nocturne

This year I participated in the Escalante Canyons Art Festival which is Southern Utah at its finest.

This is my first plein air nocturne–capturing the iconic (as far as Escalante is concerned) People’s Exchange Building as part of the Escalante Canyons Art Festival. I was awarded 1st Place!

I am not sure if painting in the dark with a headlamp is my thing but it was a lot of fun.
